New Lighting Sponsor for Bonnievale Bonanaza

Prior each year’s Bonnievale Bonanza Festival, the festival committee and team work for months in advance preparing and organizing the event so that it runs smoothly and is as successful as the previous year’s festival. This involves securing popular musicians and artists to perform, stall holders to peddle their wares and of course, sponsors to help us financially, deliver the best possible festival. We have been extremely lucky this year in sourcing sponsors eager to get some exposure for their brands by sponsoring the Bonnievale Bonanza. One the biggest sponsors we attracted this year was also the most important, the company that would manage all our lighting requirements for the festival. Many thanks to the team at GoGreen Guys.

LED lighting is a great way to light up outdoor festival areas and create a comfortable and inviting environment. Companies that offer energy efficient lighting will have a variety of options that can fit your home and of course your budget. The LED lighting gives off a softer appearance and can enhance the look and feel of your home.  LED Bulbs may cost a bit more, but they last longer and use far less electricity. This type of lighting can fit into almost any area. Here are a few ideas of where and how you can use the LED lighting in your outdoor scene at home.

Light up those dark driveways, adequate light offers safer places to park for you and your guests. There are various options available form overhead lights to ground lights. The lighting can also come in different colours to add character to the driveway area. Outdoor motion detectors and timers can also be installed for added security and convenience.
A well-lit pathway at night is more inviting and safer than walking in the dark. Some paths also have steps which can be illuminated for safety purposes. There are many different ways and options available to help light up your pathway and make it look aesthetically pleasing too.
Keeping an entryway into your house well-lit should definitely be an option because of safety reasons. Placing lights on either side of the door or overhead should keep the area well-lit. There are plenty of decorative wall lights available to brighten up the entryway.
Certain architectural features like artwork can also be highlighted to bring more of an appeal to your home.  Offering different colour lighting can also bring more attention to all of your homes best outdoor features.
Enjoy outdoor dining and entertainment at this years Bonnievale Bonanza with the amazing equipment being supplied by our sponsor. The festival will obviously be taking place in Bonnievale in the Western Cape once more.
Create a well-lit yet energy efficient dining experience in your backyard. From LED lamps, overhead lights to actual LED furniture that can be used outside. Jazz up your party by adding colour changing LED lights.
This can work well for businesses, but can also add that something extra to your home. An example would be a backlit LED house number, now your visitors will be able to find your house easily at night. These portable and rechargeable lights can be used for working outdoors, backup lighting or camping.
The use of an induction geyser Cape Town in conjunction with LED lighting and other energy saving methods will drastically reduce your monthly electricity consumption.
There are many ideas to enhance the look of your garden by adding LED lighting. You can use lighting to highlight specific areas. Decks or patios can be installed with LED lighting to create a welcoming and inviting space during the evening. The Led lights can come in different colours so you can light up your next party outside with coordinating colours.
•    Waterproof LED strips that can change colour can be fitted into your pool to make your next time swim more appealing.
•    Add dimension to large flat walls, lighting placed on a wall with some artwork or wall plants to create a focus area.
•    Plants or trees that can be lit up at night create a magical atmosphere and can add depth into your garden at night.
•    Use Led lighting for ponds and water features
•    Rope lighting can be used to light up and decorate your garden; these lights can easily wrap around objects or can even make different shapes or letters.
•    There are plenty of solar powered lamps and lights to use anywhere in your garden.

Led lights are a good choice when it comes to lighting at home and in your garden. Creating an inviting look for your home or  for security purposes, LED lights can offer a range of systems and designs that can meet anybody’s needs. The LED lights are weather resistant, have a longer life-span are low maintenance and are the best eco-friendly choice to your outdoor needs.

Bonnievale Festival Paragliding Special

Every year at the Bonnievale Bonanza Festival we try and include something different and unique. Sure we always have a good lineup of South African musicians and performers but it’s also nice to have some kind of entertainment other than music and theatre. This year we asked the Skywings paragliding team from Cape Town to come and give us a display of their skills and of course there will be a few lucky members of the  public that get to try this out for free.

Bonnievale

Whether you are an adrenaline junkie, an acrophobic or a down right doer of all things, paragliding over Cape Town is something you definitely need to do when you are around the Mother City.

Of cause, your heart might want to jump out of your body when you eventually decide to go on with it but there is no greater feeling after your feet have touched the ground. Life is a risk too so if we are to always second-guess the things we want to do or be hesitant about it, we will never get the joy of the best things in life.

Paragliding gives you that sense of edge, you need to toughen up, put on a brave face and just do it! Similarly to the diary of life, nothing comes with a manual. Each and everything is a choice, a risk or a result. The best thing you can do is just give your adventurous self a push and fly up in the sky over Cape Town. You will not regret taking that liberating choice.

The minute you start thinking it through or thinking of the all the bad things that might happen is the minute all your excitement levels mount to zero. The whole point of an outing is to enjoy it to the fullest and this is the right way of going about it. If we had to think about each and every step we took, we would not have had doctors, technicians, hairdressers, you name them.

Everything in life is a choice that either changes you or teaches you. This shouldn’t be that much of a train smash decision because it is all about the fun in it. Tandem paragliding over Cape Town is the best thing to do when you are within the Capetonian parameters because it is certainly worth all the sweat you feel before the final jump.

In each and everything that you do, there is always that voice within you that tells you that you can’t do it or you not good enough. The negative voice will always surpass the positive that is why you must never listen to anything inside that says you can’t succeed. To many, an adventure like paragliding over Cape Town is a timeless conversation they would have to have with their instinct.

Gut feelings are never wrong but sometime gut instincts are scared to do the unthinkable. In fact, if gut instincts could speak, they would be that one friend that is always negative, never wants to try new things and is always against anything that lights up your life. Who needs such negativity? Nobody. Nobody needs to be constantly reminded that if they wanted to fly up the sky, they would fall.

This years Bonnievale Bonanza promises to be better than all previous ones thanks to the magnificent job our organizers have done in arranging the best entertainers from around South Africa along with the assistance of the Langeberg Municipality.

There are skilled and experienced professionals who are equipped to not only calm your nerves but also to make sure that your safety harness is not loose and has been firmly tightened to prevent any falls. They are fully aware that your life’s rest upon your shoulders and that is why they take extreme care to ensure your life is protected. So for that day, they are your physical guardian angels because they are there to make sure you witness goodness and mercy above the sky.

Also, they too have families and loved ones that would not want to lose them so why would they want your families to lose you? The safety precautions cannot be over emphasized so you need worry about anything happening because they are qualified in the field of paragliding and would not do anything that would harm your life, your safety or your excitement.

Awesome Activities at the Festival

The technical part of the route is moderate which will also be the same for the hills on this route. There is also parts of the route where you can sit back, or paddle hard and enjoy our scenery of river, wine farms and the Langeberg Mountain range.
